Our shared history began more than thirty years ago. In those early days, the Taufsteinhütte was just a restaurant and it stayed that way for a long time.
In the meantime, the Taufsteinhütte has developed into a visionary work of art.
In the Taufsteinhütte restaurant, our kitchen team continues to conjure up creative dishes with great attention to detail. Everything here revolves around enjoyment: a little French, a little Mediterranean, always with an eye on the region, the season and the diversity of our guests' preferences. Our absolute favourite wines are stored in our wine cellar to match.
In our Vulkanhütte and in our mountain tent , we celebrate, dance, laugh (and sometimes cry) on various occasions: weddings, birthdays, christenings, anniversaries or company celebrations. There is always a good reason to celebrate.
So that you can stay with us a little longer, we have created some options for you to spend the night with us. However, we are not just a place to sleep, but rather an experience. Whether in the unique Fassdorf, in our cosy flats or in our dreamy mountain chalets: we want you to start the day with a happy smile. To make this happen, you can of course also enjoy a delicious breakfast with us.
Last but not least, we are the place for nightlife in the Vogelsberg. Admittedly, there is not much competition, but we want to bring colour into your and our lives with our event calendar . That's why we invite you to a wide variety of events throughout the year.
