Spend the night in the Taufsteinhütte

We will also be happy to explain all the details to you on site. If you would like to find out more in advance, we have summarised the most important information for you here.

If you wish, we can offer all guests an indulgent breakfast buffet with fresh and regional delicacies in the Taufsteinhütte restaurant between 8 and 10.30 a.m. for a perfect start to the day.

Our tip: When you book your overnight stay, we are also happy to accept your reservation for dinner in our à la carte restaurant. Please remember to book a table in good time so that we can convince you of our culinary skills in our restaurant.

Of course, our specials are not to be missed here: Our brilliant cheese fondue "Say Cheese" and our hat meal "Crazy Beef" are not to be missed. Please indicate your wishes when making your reservation.

Please note that Monday and Tuesday are our rest days. Of course you can still have breakfast with us.

We are also happy to provide you with a snack/plate of refreshments for these days on request. You can also book a picnic rucksack with us if you would like to have your snack at a nice spot in the great outdoors.

Check-in is possible from 3 p.m. in all accommodation options, please check out by 11 a.m..

In addition, we offer you - if possible - the following interesting offers for an extra charge:

Late check-out (on site - just ask spontaneously): If we have the possibility, we will extend your stay with us. Your departure will then only take place after dinner. Your advantage: You gain a good half day's holiday, can relax in the afternoon and enjoy a delicious dinner with us.

Early bird check-in: If we have the possibility, you can arrive for breakfast. Your advantage: You start the day with our delicious breakfast buffet and can make the most of your arrival day. We will make your room available to you from 12 noon.

For Fassdorf and hut guests: The reception team will be happy to take your exclusive reservations for the barrel sauna (1 hour - 15 euros). You can also book bathrobes (3 euros) and sauna towels (3 euros), so you can save on luggage.

We have our own bike hire on our premises and also offer guided tours through the Vogelsberg or selected cycling technique courses. We have 10 Conway e-mountain bikes available for hire. As the bike hire is not manned at all times, you are welcome to reserve your bike at reception. All accommodation is non-smoking.

Free WLAN is available in the main building.

Dogs are welcome guests in all accommodation options (for a fee), except in the slumber barrels/cabin category.

Car park: All rooms/apartments/chalets have their own free car park. We kindly ask Fassdorf guests and hut guests to use the public car park directly adjacent to our property.
