We love wine! One of the first things we did together at the Taufsteinhütte was to renovate our wine cellar, which provides a home for these treasures. Through the window on the stairs you can take a sneaky peek into part of our wine cellar.
When compiling the wines on the wine list, we have attached great importance to favouring organic wineries or those in the process of conversion, so that the proportion of organic wines on our wine list now predominates.
We are also focussing on the grape variety that stands for the northern wine-growing regions such as Germany: the RIESLING. We present a special selection in our separate Riesling menu, where you can discover your favourite Riesling.
In order to emphasise the speciality and uniqueness of individual wines, we also like to select our wines ourselves from small, characteristic winegrowers and family businesses directly in the cellar.
Of course, our sommelier Hanns Fertsch, owner of the Fertsch wine shop in Bad Nauheim, will advise us on all of this.
We hope that there will be something for every taste.
From a "simple" Pinot Gris, to a full-bodied Blanc de Noir, to award-winning and limited edition wines such as the Opus One from Napa Valley or the Sassicaia from Tuscany - we try to do justice to this entire spectrum of winegrowing.
